In a world of look-a-like and sound-a-like bands, 88 Miles Per Hour doesn't want to bore you. They want to tell you AND show you who they are.
Formed in the fall of 2000, 88 Miles Per Hour is a hard working rock outfit from the "thumb" of Michigan and is comprised of 2 sets of brothers. With influences from bands in all areas of rock (pop/punk/hardcore/emo), they have a diverse sound from song to song and a dynamic live performance. As cliche as it may sound, 88 Miles Per Hour doesn't want to be rock stars, they want to be your friend. They want to tell you their struggles, their hopes, and their lives. They hope listeners feel a connection and that as a band, they actually make a difference in others' lives for the good. Without the fans there wouldn't be rock and roll, a lot of people forget that.
